Sun Salutation Challenge with Sheri
In recognition of National Yoga Awareness Month, I will be doing 4-6 Sun Salutations every day this month! Who’s in with me for a challenge?
As you may know, I’m dealing with severe carpal tunnel issues at the moment, anything that flexes or rotates my wrist is off limits. So, I will be doing some alternate postures during my flows. The alternates will be chosen to match either the stretch, shape, or movement of the original posture.
This affects the central portion of the Enso Sun Salutation – Downward Facing Dog, Plank, Cobra / Upward Facing Dog, Table Top, and Cat / Cow. Actually, all of these can be done from a forearm position, so that’s a great option and easy to do, I’ll start there.
